May 28, M.Utemisov WKSU met with a young scientist, doctor (PhD) in physics, a graduate of the University Nurhat Zhakiev, who was included in the project "100 new faces" of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by teachers and friends of the young scientist from the University, colleagues at the beginning of his career, professors and students of the faculty of physics and mathematics.
Nurkhat Zhakiev is a native of Syrym district of Western Kazakhstan. After graduating from high school, he entered the physics and mathematics faculty of wksu in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with honors. Interest in science encourages Norhata to improve their Nauchny level. After graduating from the University for several years he worked at our University in the research Department and was one of the founders of the regional Council of young scientists. After fruitful work in wksu, in 2011 he entered the doctoral program of the Eurasian national University. L. N. Gumilev. Thanks to the hard work and time he successfully graduated from the dissertation work. After that, he was invited to work as a researcher at Nazarbayev University. Since 2015 and still Nurkhat Kuandykovich works in the same place.
N. Zhakiev – developed computer models of the power system using integer linear programming that allow investment and operational scenario analyses.
The research was carried out in the framework of grants for research from the Ministry of education and science of Kazakhstan, the Royal society of engineers of great Britain, the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan-Elbasy. The results of the work were exhibited at the International exhibition EXPO-2017. The results are published in high-rated journals: “Energy Procedia”, "Energy Conversion and Management" with Impact Factor: 5.589 and “The Energy” with Impact Factor: 4.520. He has more than 15 scientific publications, 5 copyright certificates for the developed computer programs and one patent.
Nurhat Kuandykovich made a presentation at the forum of energy modelers organized by the International Energy Association (Brussels, 2018), at the session of experts on energy modeling organized by the European Commission (Athens, 2016). He was the organizer of the seminar of Newton-al Farabi partnership program (Astana, 2016). Participated in the preparation of the VII National communication of Kazakhstan to the UN framework Convention on climate change and the biennial report of the greenhouse gas emissions forecast as a national expert on industrial processes in the United Nations development program. Country coordinator of the International statistical literacy society. He passed scientific training in Poland, great Britain and Germany.
