A Meeting Aimed at Enhancing Students’ Legal Literacy

A meaningful meeting dedicated to explaining the amendments and additions introduced to the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. The main purpose of the event was to improve students’ legal literacy and to provide a broad understanding of the impact of constitutional reforms on the field of education.

The meeting was attended by Aigul Urynbayevna Samuratova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines and Master of Law, who gave a detailed explanation of the content and significance of the new Constitution. In her presentation, she highlighted the key principles and amendments enshrined in the Constitution and emphasized their important role in the development of the country’s education system.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of developing legal culture within the educational environment, increasing students’ civic responsibility, and fostering respect for the rule of law. The role of higher educational institutions was also emphasized, especially in preparing future specialists not only as competent professionals but also as legally literate and socially responsible individuals.

The meeting contributed to enhancing students’ legal knowledge, deepening their understanding of constitutional reforms, and examining their connection with the educational process.
